Chilly Potato



Chilly potato is an and delicious vegetarian side dish loved by both kids and adults.

Ingredients:
  1. Potatoes chopped-250 gms

  2. Salt-to taste

  3. pepper powder-1 tsp

  4. Corn flour-2 tbsp

  5. Oil-for frying

  6. Onion-1 large

  7. Bell pepper-few pieces

  8. Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp

  9. Soy sauce-1/2 tsp

  10. Tomato ketchup-2 tbsp

  11. Corn flour-2 tbsp

  12. Kashmiri chilly powder-1 tsp

Preparation:
  • Mix potatoes with salt, pepper powder and corn flour; mix well (add little water if necessary to combine).

  • Deep fry them in hot oil on medium flame until crisp.

  • Drain it from the oil and keep aside.

  • In another pan; add a tablespoon of oil; add onion cubed.

  • Saute a minute.

  • Add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw smell goes off.

  • Add bell pepper and kashmiri chilly powder; mix well.

  • Add soy sauce and tomato ketchup; mix it..

  • Mix corn flour with little water and add in to the pan.

  • Add enough water to make a thick gravy (about 1/2 cup)

  • Check for salt; mix until gravy thickens.

  • Then add fried potatoes; give a nice stir and turn off heat.
