Cheesy Egg Pasta - Recipe Book

Cheesy egg pasta/macaroni is an easy peasy pasta recipe
having a rich texture and taste. Here the tender pasta is combined with a
creamy blend of sauces and then baked until nicely cooked. Add your favorite
spice powders to enhance the flavor and control the amount of pepper powder and
chilly flakes according to your spiciness.
Ingredients:
  1. Pasta/Macaroni- 200 gm

  2. Salt- to taste

  3. Butter-2 tbsp (room temp)

  4. Egg-2 large

  5. Milk- 1 cup

  6. Mustard powder- 1 tsp

  7. Garlic powder- 1 tsp

  8. Chilly flakes- 1 tbsp

  9. Pepper powder- 1 tsp

  10. Grated Carrots- 1/4 cup (optional)

  11. Grated cheese -200 gm

  12. Parsley leaves chopped- 2 tbsp

Preparation:
  • Cook pasta with enough salt until done.

  • Drain it and keep aside. (Reserve a table spoon of pasta
    cooking water for baking).

  • In a large bowl mix butter with egg and whisk well.

  • Add pasta cooking water, mustard powder, pepper powder,
    garlic powder, grated carrots,one tbsp of parsley chopped,
    chilly flakes, a pinch of salt and then milk.

  • Mix it with ¾th part of grated cheese.

  • Grease a baking tray with butter.

  • Add the cooked pasta in to it. Pour the whisked mix over the
    pasta.

  • Toss a little and then sprinkle the remaining cheese and
    parsley leaves on top.

  • Bake it in 180 degree preheated oven for about 40 minutes
    until the top gets nice golden in color.
