Tandoori Paneer Pizza - Recipe Book


 Tandoori paneer pizza is an awesome assembling of veggies on
a cheesy base. It is an amazing combination of Indian flavors with Italian way
of cooking. After tasting this vegetarian delight; surely it will become one of
your favorite pizzas. Making homemade paneer is simple easy and you can make
the pizza with few more efforts.
Ingredients for the crust:
  1. Flour-1 cup (Maida) (+ ¼ cup for rolling)

  2. Salt-to taste

  3. Sugar- ½ tsp

  4. Instant yeast- ½ tsp

  5. Warm water- ½ cup (or little less)

  6. Chilly flakes- ¼ tsp

  7. Oregano- ¼ tsp (or use any herb mix)

  8. Olive oil-2 tbsp

  1. Mix sugar and yeast with 2 tbsp of warm water and let it
    rest for 10 minutes to become frothy.

  2. Mix flour with salt, chilly flakes and oregano.

  3. Add diluted yeast mix and then water little by little.

  4. The dough will be very sticky; at this point add olive oil
    and knead well in to extra smooth dough.

  5. Cover it with a kitchen towel and let it rest for 1 hour.

Ingredients for topping:

  1. Paneer cubes-1 cup

  2. Onion cubed-1

  3. Bell pepper (capsicum) cubed- few (use different colors)

  4. Tandoori masala powder- 2 tbsp

  5. Salt-to taste

  6. Olive chopped- 2 tbsp

  7. Pizza sauce- ½ cup

  8. Chilly flakes- ¼ tsp

  9. Oregano- ¼ tsp

  10. Mozzarella cheese grated- ¾ cup

  11. Olive oil- 4 tbsp

  • Mix tandoori masala powder with little salt and water. Add paneer
    cubes in to it.

  • Heat a non-stick pan with little oil(or butter) fry theses
    paneer for few minutes on both sides until golden brown in color. Keep aside in
    a plate.

  • In the same paneer marinated bowl add capsicum pieces and
    onion pieces.

  • Add them in to the paneer fried pan and saute for a minute
    until the raw taste goes.

Assembling the Pizza:
  • After one hour pizza dough rises; take a rolling pin and
    dust it with flour.

  • With your flour dusted hand (otherwise it will stick in your
    hand) move the dough in to rolling pin.

  • Dust enough flour on top; roll the dough in to a large
    circle of half inch thickness.

  • In a baking pan; add a table spoon of olive oil and transfer
    the pizza base.

  • Above that make little knots with fork.

  • Add pizza sauce evenly on top by leaving the edges.

  • Add half of the paneer pieces, olives, capsicum and onion

  • Above that spread the mozzarella cheese evenly.

  • And spread the remaninig half of paneer pieces, olives, capsicum
    and onion cube on top of cheese.

  • Sprinkle chilly flakes and oregano on top.

  • Lastly sprinkle a table spoon of olive oil on top and
    another two tablespoon of olive oil on the edges of the pizza base.

  • Bake it in a pre-heated oven (180 c) for abouth25-30 minutes
    or until the cheese gets melted and gets a nice golden color on the edges of
