Soya Paratha - Recipe Book

Ingredients:



  1. Wheat flour- ¾ cup

  2. Soya chunks powdered- ½ cup

  3. Cooked rice- ½ cup

  4. Turmeric powder- ½ tsp

  5. Chilly powder- ½ tsp

  6. Cumin powder- ½ tsp

  7. Salt-to taste

  8. Garlic thinly chopped-1 tbsp

  9. Coriander leaves chopped-1 tbsp

  10. Green chilly chopped-1 tsp (optional)

  11. Oil-1 tbsp (+ extra for cooking)


Preparation:



  • Mix everything in a large bowl.

  • Mix it well with hands and add water little by little and
    make a smooth dough.

  • Let it rest for 15 minutes.

  • Make large equal bowls out of it.

  • Roll it by dusting little flour in to a thick paratha
    (smaller in size but thicker than normal chapathi)

  • Place it on a heated tawa.

  • Make the flame to medim-low and apply little oil evenly on top.

  • Quickly turn in to the other side.

  • Apply oil in top also and turn once again when the bottom
    gets golden and cooked. (press well with ladle; at the time of cooking).

  • Add in to serving plate and cook all other paratha’s in the
    same manner.

  • Serve hot with raitha 
    or the choice of your curry.
