Mini-Fruit Tart - Recipe Book

The mini fruit tart is a lovely dessert with soft but
crunchy base filled with delicious cream cheese filling and again topped it
with fresh fruits.  Only few ingredients
are required for making this and we can use any of our favorite filling inside.


Ingredients for the base crust:
  1. Flour-1 cup

  2. Sugar powdered- 3tbsp

  3. Butter- ½ cup

  4. Salt-a pinch

  5. Cold water-little

Preparation:
  1. Add flour, powdered sugar and salt in a bowl.

  2. Add butter in to it and mix well with a spatula for 5
    minutes continuously until it forms a crumble mixture.

  3. Add little cold water enough to make a smooth (just enough the
    dough to stick together) dough.

  4. Scoop it in to mini muffin cups or in to a tart tray.

  5. Press and align them in the shape of a tart.

  6. Bake it in the pre-heated oven for about 15 minutes.

  7. Allow to cool and using a knife edge; pop-out the crust
    cups.



Ingredients for filling:
  1. Cream cheese- ¼ cup

  2. Sweetened condensed milk- ¼ tin

  3. Vanilla essence-few drops

  4. Fresh fruits chopped

  5. Sugar syrup


Preparation:



  • In a chilled bowl add cream cheese, milk maid and vanilla
    drops.

  • Beat in to high speed until thick cream formed.

  • Fill it on the tart crusts until ¾ th level.

  • Then add the fresh fruit pieces on top (dip each fruit piece
    in sugar syrup before topped and drip the excess; so fruits get a glazing and
    freshness.)

  • Cool the mini fruit tarts if desired and serve chilled.
