Chocolate Cups with Mousse Filling

Presenting a dessert inside a chocolate cup is heavenly
delicious and have a stunning look. Make these fantastic cups easily at home by
using any plain chocolates or chocolate chips. And make a favorite dessert
filling inside.. 

Here is the steps for making chocolate cups:



For making chocolate cups:
  1. Chocolate chips- 3/4 cup

  2. Aluminum muffin cups / (or paper cups / silicon cups)

  • Boil water in a wide pan; when it boils place another pan on
    top of it without entering any water in it.

  • Add chocolate chips on it and stir well until completely
    melts. (Even a drop of water in it; spoils the texture of chocolate cup) (Double
    boiling method; or you can also do microwave it in medium power for 30
    seconds).

  • Stir well the melted chocolates without any lumps in it.

  • Take an aluminum muffin cup  and make a  small cut on its edge; so
    that you can easily remove it after freezing.

  • Coat the melted chocolates in each cup evenly as thick and
    smooth.(make a thick coating; otherwise the cups may broken while remolding)

  • Freeze it for 20 minutes and carefully remove the aluminum
    muffins from the trim side (take care dont' touch the chocolate cup part while removing; try to remove it by just touching the aluminium muffin only).

  • Prepare the filling and enjoy the delicious chocolate cups.!!!





For The Mousse Filling:
  1. Chocolate chips-½ cup

  2. Egg yolk-2 nos

  3. Sugar-2 tbsp

  4. Heavy cream- ¼ cup

  5. Vanilla essence- ¼ tsp

  6. Mango pieces- 1/2 cup

  7. Strawberry-to garnish

  8. Fresh cream-to garnish

  9. Grated chocolates-to garnish


Preparation:



  • Melt chocolate chips by double boiling or microwave it for
    30 seconds .

  • Mix well until melted and creamy in texture.

  • In a saucepan; whisk egg yolks with sugar; add half of heavy
    cream in to it and whisk well.

  • Cook on medium heat by stirring continuously until bubbles
    appear on the sides of the pan (thickening consistency).

  • Add vanilla essence into it and switch off the flame.

  • Add melted chocolate in to it mix well.

  • Allow to cools down completely and chill for 30 minutes.

  • Beat the remaining heavy cream until stiff peaks comes.

  • Fold it with the chilled mousse mix.

  • Add mango pieces in each cups as its half the level.

  • Add chocolate mousse on top.

  • Garnish it with little fresh cream, berries
    and chocolate shavings.








Add the choice of your favorite fruit pieces to fill the cups J
