Cauliflower/ Gobi Lollipop - Recipe Book

 Gobi lollipop is an amazing choice for vegetarians to enjoy the lollipop. Its very easy to make and tastes superb.
The Ingredients:
  1. Cauliflower Florets- 1 cup

  2. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp

  3. Kashmiri chilly powder- 1 tbsp

  4. Ginger garlic paste-1/2  tsp

  5. Vinegar- 1/2 tsp

  6. Baking powder- 1/4 tsp

  7. Garam masala powder- 1/4 tsp

  8. All purpose flour-1 tbsp

  9. Corn flour-1 tbsp

  10. Salt- to taste


Preparation:


  • Cut the cauliflower in to big lollipop like floret pieces (along with long stems).

  • Boil water with 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder and little salt.

  • Soak the washed florets in boiled water and cook for about 5 minutes until just cooked.

  • Drain it well and do the marination.

  • In bowl; mix turmeric powder, chilly powder, garam masala powder, corn flour, all purpose flour, vinegar, ginger garlic paste and little salt.

  • Add little water to make a thick batter .

  • Add the cauliflower pieces in to it and coat well.

  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan.

  • Add each florets in to the hot oil one by one; (after adding them in to the oil; make the flame in to low; otherwise the inner sides didn't cooked well.).

  • Drain in to paper towels and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
